Rana Tariq Mehmood is a distinguished leader with a proven track record in governance, agriculture, and public administration. He is also the Board member in National Fertilizer Corporation of Pakistan.

In terms of experience, he brings over 18 years of international and multi-cultural expertise in project and marketing management within high-volume production environments. He has implemented effective business and education strategies in government, semi-autonomous, and autonomous institutions, focusing on areas such as public administration, financial control, budgeting, human resources, revenue growth, cost reduction, quality assurance, agro-economics, legal jurisprudence associated with the Lahore High Court, and industrial contract management. His notable roles include serving on the Board of Governors of the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council, as a member of management at Sheikh Zayed Medical College, vice president of the Pakistan Jiu-Jitsu Federation, member of the District Zila Council in Rahimyar Khan, president of an NGO supporting district and government schools, member of the Pakistan Agricultural Research Cotton Committee, and member of the National Seed Council. As a dedicated social worker, he has also carried out multiple initiatives to enhance public welfare.

Regarding qualifications, Rana Tariq Mehmood holds a Bachelor of Arts from Bahawalpur and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Baluchistan in Quetta. He is a certified Board Director from LUMS and has also participated in Owners and Directors Executive Management Program from LUMS. His other trainings encompasses practical expertise gained through hands-on roles in governance and autonomous bodies, including promotional strategies in education, agro-economic promotions in national and international markets, and day-to-day public administration as a government functionary.
