Mr. Nasir Mahmood Khan Khosa is a retired Pakistani civil servant from Dera Ghazi Khan. Mr. Khosa belonged to the Pakistan Administrative Service, where he attained the BPS-22 grade, the highest attainable rank for a serving officer. He was promoted to the rank of Federal Secretary in 2010, marking an outstanding civil service career. Throughout his distinguished career, he held some of the country’s most coveted and prestigious bureaucratic assignments. These roles included serving as the 22nd Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, and as the administrative head of two provinces, Chief Secretary Punjab and Chief Secretary Baluchistan.
Beyond his national service, Mr. Khosa extended his expertise internationally, serving as Executive Director at the World Bank from 2013 to 2017.
Academically, Mr. Khosa holds three Master's Degrees: a Master of Arts (M.A.) in English Literature from BZ University, Multan; a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from Pennsylvania State University, USA; and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Defense and Strategic Studies from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan. He also earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan
Mr. Khosa is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pakistan Tobacco Company Limited and Director on the Board of Pak Brunei Investment Company.
